Mount McArthur adopted in the 2nd Report of the Geographic Board of Canada, 30 June 1900. Incorrectly identified as "McArthur Mountain" in the 5th Report, 30 June 1904 et seq. Correctly identified as "Mount McArthur" in the 1930 BC Gazetteer. Mount McArthur confirmed 5 July 1961 on 82N/10.
