Cynthia Island adopted 4 October 1945 on C.377 as recommended by Hydrographic Service, not "Centre Island" as labelled on BC map 2B, 1914, and as identified in the 1930 BC Gazetteer (file F.1.34 #3). Name changed to Christie Islet 2 March 1948 (file H.2.45)
