Origin Notes and History:

Fairy Falls adopted in the 1930 BC Gazetteer, as submitted 1928 by A.J. Campbell, BCLS, for BC map 5B (file B.1.28); confirmed 4 August 1955 on C.3435. Name changed to Granite Falls 29 October 1982 on 92 G/7 as recommended by Hydrographic Service, being the old, well-established local name (file H.1.29 pt.2).
