Neaksagilaguaw Creek adopted 6 September 1978 on 103I-J, as proposed by the DINA Agent at Terrace. Spelling corrected to Eneeksaguilaguaw Creek in BC records 13 December 1978, as instructed by the Geographical Names Secretariat, being the spelling that was approved 30 November 1978 by Dept of Indian & Northern Affairs (DINA file N-1165-171-103). BC file T.1.48

Ne-aksa-gilagauw Creek is the name provided 5 September 1973 by Water Management Branch (map, file T.1.48), being the spelling on the water licence issued for use on Kitsumkaylum IR 1 (WR file 0296963). This water source has been diverted eastward to a storage pond, and may now drain into the mouth of Kistumkalum River, rather than directly into the Skeena River.
