Origin Notes and History:

Mount Endeavour adopted in 1935 on Geological Survey sheet 310A, Stikine River Area, as an established local name used by navigators and prospectors along the Stikine river. Origin/significance not recorded. Form of name changed to Endeavour Mountain 6 May 1954.
