Dawson's report and accompanying his 1879 Geological Survey map "British Columbia and the Northwest Territory from the Pacific Ocean to Fort Edmonton" Origin/significance not recorded.

Headwaters in the vicinity of 54°29' x 125°59' then flows south through Lots 4188, 4184 etc, turns sharply eastward just east of Rose Lake, then continues in a general southeasterly direction...
