Aleza Lake (Post Office) adopted 4 September 1958 on 93J/1, as labelled on BC map 1G, 1916; identified as Aleza Lake (station) in the 1973 Supplement to the 1966 BC Gazetteer. Form of name changed to Aleza Lake (community) 15 July 1983 on 93J/1.
