Origin Notes and History:
Adopted 27 August 1965 on 92G, as proposed by Dr. Ray Hooley, Alpine Club of Canada and professor at the University of British Columbia; quite accustomed to students cutting classes, especially members of UBC's Varsity Outdoors Club, who regularly climb in the Garibaldi Park area.
