After Ira Day, who developed this holding. "The man who built the ranch and irrigated its fields was Ira Day. He's been dead about 10 years and the ranch was abandoned for a time." (Vancouver Sun, 19 August 1971, p.16) Aerial photographs dated 1982 show an active (ranching?) operation.
