"Dolomite Narrows" adopted 7 April 1949 on Chart #3853, as identified in British Columbia Pilot, Vol II, edition 1, 1913. Name changed 7 January 2022 to Ḵ'iid Xyangs Ḵ'iidaay on 103B/6 as recommended by The Council of the Haida Nation and supported by North Coast Regional District, Archipelago Search and Rescue, and Canadian Coast Guard.
