Established by Order-in-Council 1506, 1939. Area increased per OIC 4038, 6 December 1973, the whole now containing 23 acres. Boundary redescribed per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole containing approximately 9 hectares.
