"Lebanon" suggested by Water Rights Branch, in association with Lebanon Lake at its' head - presumably to avoid duplication; both features had previously been known as Cedar Lake and Cedar Creek (so-labelled on Water Rights Branch plan showing Irrigation Systems, Kelowna, 1912, and map of the Yale District, 61B1, 1906).
