Origin Notes and History:

Lakbelak Lake Indian Reserve 40, Kincolith Band. Extinguished per Nisga'a Treaty and transferred to fee-simple interest: Lot 6454, Range 5 Coast Land District. Name changed to Lax Bilak (site), incorporating the former Lakbelak Lake IR 40, Lakbelak Creek IR 39 and Lakbelak IR 38, per the Nisga'a Treaty, Appendix F-3, effective 11 May 2000.
