Uusahquu-as (mountain) adopted 1 April 2011, per the provisions of the Maa-nulth Treaty.

The summit ridge extends southeasterly to several small lakes on a summit plateau, above the bend in Hucuktlis Lake.

One of many important features within the the Thunderbird's Nest (T'iitsk'in Paawats) Protected Area. The Uchucklesaht name is Uusah quu-as or Uusajuu-is, meaning "Ritual Bathing Mountain."
