Established per Bill 10-2009: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 20 October 2009, and brought into force per OIC 207, 21 April 2010 - the whole containing approximately 179 hectares. Boundary extended per Bill 15: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 19 May 2010, the whole now containing approximately 489 hectares. Per Bill 17 - 2021: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 2021; the whole park now containing approximately 554 ha.
