Established per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole containing approximately 19,398 hectares (19,306 hectares of upland and 92 hectares of foreshore). The main parcel surrounding Tsayta and Indata Lakes plus 4 small parcels downstream on Tchentlo and Chuchi Lakes.
