Origin Notes and History:

Established per Order in Council 3687, 30 November 1967, containing 350 acres. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 86, Park Amendment Act 1999, 28 June 1999, the whole containing approximately 143 hectares of upland. [the foreshore at Whitesand Cove is part of Flores Island Park.]
