Identified as North Fork Ingenika River on earlier maps (titles/dates not cited). Named "Fredrikson Creek" in 1932 by Frank Swannell, after a trapper/prospector who, at the time, had a cabin on the Ingenika River near the mouth of McConnell Creek.
