Origin Notes and History:
Established per Bill 86, Park Amendment Act 1999, 28 June 1999, the whole containing 47,699 ha. more or less. Area increased per OIC 63, 25 January 2001, the whole now containing 48,261 ha. more or less. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 15-2001: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act 2001, 11 April 2001, the whole still containing 48,261 ha. more or less. Boundary extended per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole now containing approximately 50,681 hectares. Boundary extended per Bill 24-2007: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 3 May 2007; the whole now containing approximately 126,023 hectares.
