Origin Notes and History:

Sechelt Inlets Marine Recreation Area established per Order in Council 1495, 10 July 1980, comprising 8 sites. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation and name changed to Sechelt Inlets Marine Park per Bill 86, Park Amendment Act 1999, 28 June 1999, the whole containing 140 hectares more or less.
