Origin Notes and History:

Coquihalla River Recreation Area established per Order in Council 986, 15 May 1986, containing 100 hectares more or less. Upgraded to a Class A park according to BC Parks' published synopsis of Bill 86: Park Amendment Act 1999, 28 June 1999, however this particular feature is not specified or identified in the cited legislation. Established as Coquihalla River Park in Bill 17-2000: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act, 29 June 2000; the whole containing 103 ha. more or less.
