Origin Notes and History:

Jackfish Lake Recreation Area was established by Order in Council 2866, 9 November 1979. Name changed to Andy Bailey Recreation Area per OIC 1395, 21 July 1982. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation, and name and status changed to Andy Bailey Park per Bill 86, Park Amendment Act 1999, 28 June 1999, the whole containing 196 hectares. Cancelled per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; property transferred to local government administration in March 2005.
