Mount Klappan adopted 6 April 1950 on 194H, located at 57 14 - 128 49. Form of name changed to Klappan Mountain 6 May 1975 on 104H/2, and coordinates adjusted to 57 12 - 128 50 (NAD27) as identified in Geological Survey publication, 1949.
