Nisga'a name is Xk'aat'aapgwit, meaning "the highest, sharp peak" that protrudes above all other mountains. [k'aa/ really; t'aapkw/ sharp]. Xk'aat'aapgwit is another mountain where the Nisga'a sought refuge from the Great Flood.
