Established by Order in Council 590, 30 April 1996, containing 293 ha. more or less. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 29-1997: Park Amendment Act 1997, 23 July 1997, the whole still containing 293 ha. more or less. Boundary redescribed per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole now containing approximately 288 hectares.
