Perry Siding (Post Office and flag station) adopted in the 1909 BC Gazetteer, located 8 miles south of Slocan City [sic]. "Perry Siding" labelled on BC map 1EM, 1915. Form of name changed to Perry Siding (Settlement), not Perry Village (Settlement) 19 January 1956 on Columbia River Basin manuscript 63, located at 49° 39' 30" - 117° 30' 40", about 1 mile southeast of Perrys (Station). Name changed to Perrys (Community) 22 December 1986 on 82 F/12.
