Origin Notes and History:
Matsqui Post Office was opened in 1875, located on the north side of the Fraser River. Name changed to Mission City Post Office 1 October 1891. [another facility, named by the Post Office Dept as Matsqui Post Office was opened on the south side of the Fraser River in 1903.]
