Named to remember Canadian Army Private Alfred G. Hagen, K 76157, from Field; Pte Hagen was serving with the 10th Canadian Infantry Btn when he was killed in action 3 September 1944 during the liberation of Calais. Buried at the Calais Canadian War Cemetery, Leubringhen, France, grave 4.C.6.
