Adopted in the 1966 BC Gazetteer, as identified in USS and NN timetables. Rescinded 25 November 1970.

Located at SE 1/4 Lot 761 on the Wishart Peninsula, adjacent to the post office. Some time before 28 June 1943 the post office was moved to Gilford Island; the Union Steamship Company then the Northland Navigation Company continued to provide scheduled service to Simoom Sound until 1964, then only by special call until 1969-70.
