Origin Notes and History:

Beaver River (settlement) adopted in the 1930 BC Gazetteer, as identified in Schools List; the school was probably located adjacent to the road in L5305, east of the abandoned airfield. Name rescinded 6 April 1981 on 93H/8.

Beaver River was the early name for Holmes River, hence the name Beaver River School.
