Bugaboo Alpine Recreation Area established by Order in Council 2341/69, 17 July 1969, containing 61,800 acres. Bugaboo Alpine Recreation Area amalgamated with Bugaboo Glacier Park and adjacent lands, the combined area to be known as Bugaboo Park, per Bill 53: Park Amendment Act, 13 July 1995, the whole now containing 13,646 ha.
