"Big Creek/South Chilcotin Park, a.k.a. Big Creek Park" established per Bill 53, Park Amendment Act 1995, 13 July 1995, the whole containing 65,982 ha. more or less Name changed to Big Creek Park per Bill 17: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act, 12 June 2000, the whole still containing 65,982 ha. more or less. Area increased per Order in Council 63, 25 January 2001, the whole now containing 66,067 ha. more or less. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation and boundary redescribed per Bill 50: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole now containing approximately 67,918 hectares.
