Wa-wa Ridge adopted by Alberta 20 October 1983; adopted by British Columbia 13 June 1984 on 82O/4, located on the BC-Alberta boundary just SE of Simpson Pass. Parks Canada advised 2 January 1985 that this feature is called Twin Cairn Ridge, and Wa-Wa Ridge is actually located about 2 miles NNE, entirely inside Alberta at 51 05 45 - 115 47 30. Name changed to "Twin Cairns (ridge)" by Alberta 28 July 1986; changed by British Columbia 3 October 1986, and by Parks Canada 11 March 1988 on 82O/4.
