"Ginny Lake" adopted 25 February 1985; an established local name according to BC Lands, Williams Lake. Name changed to the combination form "Crazy Bear (Ginny) Lake" 26 January 1988 on 93C/3 and 93C/4, to reflect equally-entrenched name Crazy Bear Lake, used by fishing resort operators and guide-outfitters.
