Origin Notes and History:

Mansons Landing Park was established by Order in Council 1013, 21 March 1974, containing 117 acres. Name changed to Mansons Landing Marine Park 31 May 1982 on 92 K/2. Area expanded per OIC 393, 21 March 1989, to include the former Mansons Landing Recreation Area, the whole now containing 100 ha. more or less. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation and name confirmed as Mansons Landing Park per Bill 17-2000: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act, 29 June 2000; the whole containing 100 ha. more or less.
