Mount Devereux was adopted 3 April 1928 on Ottawa file OBF 1018, as submitted by Hydrographic Service. Name changed to Mount Lowe 6 July 1950 on 92NW, the earlier name for this feature, as labelled on British Admiralty Chart 581, 1865 et seq.
