Camp Bight adopted in the 1930 BC Gazetteer, as labelled on British Admiralty Chart 2689, 1865 et seq. Name changed to McKenzie Bight 6 November 1934 as recommended by H. Parizeau, Hydrographic Service (Ottawa file OBF 1449); confirmed 16 January 1950 on 92B/12.
