Cheekye Ridge adopted 12 September 1972 as identified in February 1952 American Journal of Science and in 1958 Geological Society of America bulletin, Vol 69, page 161-198, and shown on accompanying map. Name changed to Alice Ridge 30 January 1981 on 92G/14, being the established local name according to 1978 advice from Karl Ricker, and 1981 confirmation by BC Mountaineering Club (file P.1.61).
