Established per Bill 53: Park Amendment Act 1995, 13 July 1995, containing approximately 25,265 hectares. Boundary extended per same legislation (Park Amendment Act 1995), adding 53 hectares, effective 31 December 1995; the whole to containing approximately 25,318 hectares. Boundary redescribed per Bill 8-2015: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 25 March 2015, the whole now containing approximately 26,199 hectares. The boundary redescribed 10 March 2022 per Bill 3: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 2022; 2 hectares was removed; the whole containing approximately 26,197 hectares.
