Origin Notes and History:

Established by Bill 53: Park Amendment Act 1995, 13 July 1995, containing approximately 2298.6 hectares (355.2 hectares of upland and 1943.4 hectares of foreshore). Boundary redescribed per Bill 8-2015: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 25 March 2015, the whole now containing approximately 2232 hectares (1235 hectares of upland and 997 hectares of foreshore).
