Established by Order in Council 0791, 14 June 1993, containing 2379 ha. more or less. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 53: Park Amendment Act 1995, 13 July 1995. Redescribed in Bill 17-2000: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act, 29 June 2000; the whole containing 2007 ha. more or less. Boundary extended per Bill 38-2008: Protected Areas of British Columbia (Conservancies and Parks) Amendment Act, 23 May 2008; the whole now containing approximately 4,048 hectares.
