This name was suggested by residents after Bernard (Bern) Mullen (1907-1981), pioneer homesteader in the Mosley valley. His trapline ran along Razor Creek, and he was one of the group that discovered and staked the famous Blackhorn Mine at the head of the valley in the early 1930's.
