Origin Notes and History:

Atlin Park established per Bill 174: Parks Act, 18 May 1973, containing 232,695 ha. more or less. Boundary redescribed per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole containing approximately 206,575 hectares. Name changed to Atlin/A Téix'gi Aan Tlein Park and boundary extended to include much of the former Atlin Recreation Area, per Bill 49-2012: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 31 May 2012, the whole now containing approximately 229,894 hectares.
