Origin Notes and History:

Established per Order in Council 424, 23 March 1990, containing 57 ha. Area expanded per Bill 29: Park Amendment Act 1997, 23 July 1997, the whole now containing 142 ha. more or less. Boundary redescribed per Bill 74-2004: Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 21 October 2004, the whole now containing 146 hectares (143 hectares of upland and 3 hectares of foreshore).
