Drinnon Peak adopted 27 July 1976 on 82 F, as proposed by Pat Ridge, Kootenay Mountaineering Club, in association with Drinnon Lake. Spelling changed to Drinnan Peak 3 February 1986 on 82 F/13, being the correct spelling of the family name. (file S.1.59)
