Origin Notes and History:

Quinn Lake adopted in the 1930 BC Gazetteer, as labelled on BC map 5C, 1929, and on 1928 plan 16T293 by P. Monckton, BCLS. Name changed to Bobquinn Lake 5 February 1945 on 104SE; form of name changed to Bob Quinn Lake 13 June 1954 on 104B/16. Bob Quinn Lake confirmed 20 January 1955 on 104B.

"At Echo Lake a large garden has been cultivated for many years with great success. Bob Quin [sic], the lineman here, informs me....that this area is the first to be free from the winters' snow."
