Adopted 31 March 1924 on 103I/7 as an established name as listed in 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914,1915, 1924 Gazetteers and Reference Map 3M "Prince Rupert" (1916, 1921, 1929). In lieu of original paperwork this name was reconfirmed 9 August 1951.
