Origin Notes and History:

Maclure Lake Park established by Order in Council 795, 11 April 1955 . Name changed to Tyhee Lake Park per OIC 1974, 10 September 1981. Boundary described per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole containing approximately 33 hectares. Boundary extended per Bill 15: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 19 May 2010, the whole now containing approximately 39 hectares.
