Origin Notes and History:

Beaver Lake adopted 30 September 1982 on 93F/13, as suggested by applicant Ducks Unlimited and by Water Management, for a water licence. Changed to Castor Lake 30 November 1982 on 93 F/13, because Water Management was already using "Beaver Lake" to identify a small lake just 5 miles northwest. (file C.2.69)
