Ecstall Island adopted 5 April 1927 on C.313 as recommended by Canadian Hydrographic Service, not "Village Island" as identified in earlier records. Ecstall Island confirmed 3 September 1946 on c.3735, 6 July 1950 on c.3756 and 4 Octoober 1951 on 103I.
